In the evening of December 15, 2025, during his visit to Lviv region , Ambassador Ma Shengkun attended a meeting with representatives of the Chinese student community in Lviv to convey the care and support of the motherland.

Ambassador Ma first extended sincere greetings to all Chinese students in Ukraine and reaffirmed the continued attention and concern of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the CPC central leadership. He listened attentively to the students, asked about their studies and daily life in Lviv and encouraged them to study diligently, set high goals and in the future devote their skills to the development of the motherland and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

He emphasized that martial law remains in force in Ukraine and urged students to take safety seriously and strictly comply with local laws and regulations. He noted that protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens abroad will always remain a top priority for the Embassy and that students will continue to receive all possible support.

Student representatives expressed gratitude to the motherland and the Embassy for their constant care and attention, shared their experiences of studying abroad and pledged to work hard to complete their studies successfully so as to contribute in the future to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. They also said they would continue to promote a better understanding of China and Chinese culture and help strengthen friendship between the two peoples.
