On January 21, 2026, Ambassador Ma Shengkun met with Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine. The two sides exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of cooperation between China and Ukraine in the field of public health, preparations for the next meeting of the Sub-Commission on Health Cooperation under the China–Ukraine Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
