On March 4, 2026, Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Ma Shengkun visited the National Tax University of Ukraine at the invitation of the university and held a meeting with Rector Dmytro Serebrianskyi. 

Ambassador Ma listened to an introduction on the university's development history, distinctive features, and international cooperation. He commended the institution's remarkable achievements in education and international collaboration across finance, taxation, customs, and related fields. Ambassador Ma emphasized that educational cooperation constitutes a vital component of  people-to-people exchanges between China and Ukraine. China values pragmatic collaboration with Ukrainian universities in talent cultivation, academic exchanges, and scientific research, and stands ready to advance cooperative ties between higher education institutions and academic bodies on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.

Dmytro Serebrianskyi expressed that the National Tax University of Ukraine looks forward to exchanges and cooperation with China. The university is willing to engage in dialogue and mutually benefit cooperation with Chinese universities and research institutions in the fields of economics, finance, taxation, and public administration, making positive contributions to promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the youth of Ukraine and China.
