Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Ma Shengkun visits Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages №1

On April 14, 2026, Ambassador Ma Shengkun visited the Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages 1, where he held talks with Principal Oksana Proskura and engaged in warm exchanges with representatives of the faculty and students to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese language education and the development of cultural exchanges between China and Ukraine.

Ambassador Ma noted that language serves as a bridge connecting hearts and minds. Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages №1 has been deeply committed to Chinese language education for many years, and the quality of its Chinese teaching has steadily improved. It has become one of the leading institutions for Chinese language education at the secondary school level in Ukraine and has made significant contributions to promoting cultural exchange and people-to-people bonds between the two countries. The Embassy will continue to support the school’s Chinese language education efforts and assist it in cultivating more professionals dedicated to the friendly relations between China and Ukraine.
